Growatt’s MIN Series Inverter Gives Buyers MAX Value

Growatt’s MIN Series Inverter Gives Buyers MAX Value

G rowatt has recently released its MIN Series inverter on the Australian Market. In fact, Growatt chose to debut its new inverter here in Aussie first, as part of a worldwide launch. The products have been verified and fully certified for use by the Clean Energy Council (CEC). The MIN2500-6000TL-X Series is a smart inverter for residential use.

Growatt have been in Australia since 2010, and they had their first success in an overseas market here. Since that time, Growatt has continued to keep a pace with

the local market. The firm is in tune with local buyers, and the new MIN Series is a great example of that.

Australia’s renewable energy drive moved into an exciting phase back in 2009, when the “Feed In Tariff” policy began. It was a time of massive growth in the local PV solar rooftop market with 383MW’s going in that year. So, the boom continued, and now Aussie has the highest uptake of rooftop PV solar per capita in the world. 20% of Australian homes now have PV solar on their roofs, while Growatt has sold about 200,000 inverters here. At this time, 10% of inverters in Australia are Growatt, a significant achievement.

Now with the release of the MIN Series, the firm intends to further cement its place in the local market. The MIN uses ultra light weight ‘aero space grade’ flame retarding materials, so making it easy to carry and install. The unit weigh about 35% less too than rival products, with a 5kW MIN coming in at 10.8kG. It has a compact, sleek design too, while having an OLED display and durable ‘touch button’ to access data.

The MIN has all the expected features of a high level inverter, with standard USB and RS 232 interface. Owners can configure WiFi, GPRS, 4G too, while they can easily monitor system performance using Growatt’s Online Smart Service (OSS). There is a 98.4% efficiency and PV system safety using an improved, type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). The unit has an optional Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) too, so to cap off a versatile and effective inverter.
