Description

This system uses TongWei TNC 2.0 475W N-type dual glass solar panels designed to deliver strong energy production and excellent long-term reliability. Furthermore, their higher output allows more solar capacity to be installed using less roof space, making them a great option for homes looking to maximise solar generation.

In addition, the dual glass construction provides enhanced durability and protection against moisture, weather exposure and long-term degradation. As a result, this package is well suited to larger households, homes with electric vehicles, pools, ducted air conditioning and higher daytime electricity usage. TongWei backs the panels with a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty, while Solis provides a 10-year manufacturer's warranty.

System Details

This package includes 22 TongWei TWMNH-48HW 475W black frame solar panels using advanced TNC 2.0 N-type cell technology and dual glass construction. The panels feature a 96 half-cell (48×2) design and achieve efficiencies of up to 23.8%, providing a total array size of 10.45kW DC.

Furthermore, TongWei's N-type technology improves energy generation and long-term reliability while maintaining excellent performance under Australian conditions. The panels include a 30-year linear performance warranty with first-year degradation limited to 1%, followed by only 0.4% annual degradation thereafter. Consequently, the panels retain approximately 87.4% of their original output after 30 years. They are also certified to withstand front-side loads of up to 6000Pa and rear-side loads of up to 4000Pa.

The system is paired with the Solis S6-GR1P8K03-NV-ND-AU single-phase inverter. It features three independent MPPTs for greater design flexibility on multiple roof orientations, supports 20A input current for today's high-power solar panels and includes a Wi-Fi communication dongle with Bluetooth App connectivity for convenient system monitoring. With up to 98% maximum efficiency, natural cooling and an IP66-rated enclosure suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, the Solis inverter provides reliable performance for years to come.
