They led the charge with their pursuit of multi busbar, twin glazed bifacial technologies also, giving the firm a solid footing forward into 2020.
The firm led the way in August 2019, developing their larger 210mm silicon wafer. This to deploy in the new large-size “210” modules that shipping in January 2020. These follow industry trends toward large panels, and feature a unique three section layout. There are mulitiple busbars too, aiding efficiency. These designs are the result of over ten years of R&D.
2019 was a good year for the firm’s “TrinaPRO” products that feature the company’s best technology solutions. These are top end panels with intelligent algorithm bifacial panel tracking. pairing with clever 1500V inverter technology. This solution is now at several commercial sites around the world with great success. These include a new PV installation in Marchihue, Chile and the Solar Park Qinghai Golmud. As a result, the overall growth of the company boosted its figures five-fold in 2019 over 2018.
Trina bolstered solid growth in 2019, signing on projects increasing capacity to even greater levels in 2020 and beyond. Both Suqian, Jiangsu and Yiwu, Zhejiang in China, saw new production facilities come on line.
